Kilimanjaro Maps
Kilimanjaro and its surrounding area is covered by DOS/government Survey-maps on a scale of 1:50.000
and consists of maps 56/1, 56/2, 56/3 en 56/4. The main part of the mountain is on map 56/2. A special 1:100.000 map
(nr. 522) is also produced, but rarely available.
There are also commercial maps available. The Ordnance Survey Worldmaps series contain a map called "Kilimanjaro" on a 1:100.000 scale, which is a reprint of the above mentioned 522-map. Another "Kilimanjaro Map" is produced by Mark Savage on a 1:50.000 scale and is available at shops around Moshi and Arusha. Both commercial maps do contains some minor errors.
